Jan. 17th 2009, Woody’s Custom Landscaping won a distinction award from WALP for residentual construction. The job included a huge pond that serves as both a trout pond and swimming pool in the summer. The dimensions are approx. 120′ by 60′ with half being approx. 4′ deep and the other half approx. 12′ deep. In total it holds about 330,000 gallons of water and the skimmers and water fall have about 35,000 gallons of water per hour circulating. In the front entry you enter the house on a mortarred flagstone walk over another pond both built by Woody’s. Through out the yard we installed low voltage lights, approx. 30,000′ sod, planting and lots of paver walks and a huge paver patio, We also installed a beautiful raised vegetable garden area with Tuscan stone, Rainbird Irrigation, Boulders, planting and a large amount of drainage. We are proud to receive the award and want to thank Gregg and Ellis Landscape Design, especially Christine Ellis for her design plan and consultation.
