I noticed a quote yesterday. I thought it was appropriate for the tough times we all face these days. I don’t know who quoted it, but is does say a lot in a few words. “THE BITTERNESS OF POOR QUALITY LINGERS LONG AFTER THE SWEETNESS OF THE LOW PRICE THAT IS FORGOTTEN”.
It really means you get what you pay for. There have been landscape estimates I have not gotten the contract for this year due to quotes that were quite a bit less. For a few of them I was shocked to learn some contractors were actually installing jobs that I know are for less than their costs. This usually means the clients will get less quality, service and inferior product. Sure, the contractor can install one or two jobs at below their cost, but it is a matter of time before they will start to go under financially. What happens when these contractors do go out of business? Will you get your warranty work done? Can you get your questions answered? Woody’s Custom Landscaping has never claimed to be the cheapest. We do however, offer fantastic service, quality craftmanship, and superior products. We do not cut corners. Just this week we had some bark left over from a back yard renovation. Instead of using it on another job we decided to dress up the front yard also. No charge. Just service and going the extra mile.
