Creating Your Landscaping Dream

Creating a landscape dream is really not that hard. The first thing I tell my clients is to have a well thought out idea of what you would like. For most homeowners they call a landscaper. That may be where they stepped off the path to their landscape dream. I can’t stress enough, that almost every one should get a landscape plan first. Many landscapers will offer designs in their package for your landscape. This is great if they have qualified designers they use. Designs cost money, so don’t think your are achieving much if you get a free plan. “If it seems to good to be true, it probably is.” Free plans are exactly that. A cookie cutter of some sort of basic plan, that may and probably not help you achieve your landscape dream.
In our company, we have independent landscape designers who we work with constantly. We can help choose the right landscape designer for your landscape goals. I usually go out on each estimate and get a quick synapse of what is proposed to be done. If I think there are more than a few decisions on plant types, patio colors, types of hardscaping and budget considerations, I suggest a landscape designer. This is you the homeowners insurance policy that your landscape gets more than just some numbers crunched together. Many of our clients are getting multiple quotes for landscaping their yard. I think that is a great idea, except without a plan, the potential client really has no way to compare the estimates. There is nothing that gives square footage’s, types of amendments, sizes of plants or what type, and what materials may be used for patios, retaining walls and water features. It is for your benefit that you get a landscape plan. How can you get a relative estimate without one.
To create your landscaping dream, the first step is to get a professional landscape plan. The second step is to give us a call. We have served the Vancouver WA, Portland OR area with years of certified, award winning professionalism.
